Cullis Entertainment came about more as an evolution rather than having a set documented beginning. It has grown out of founder, Roger Cullis’
passion for music, sports, television and movies.
After spending large parts of the 70s, 80s and into the early part of the 90s involved in music as a musician, engineer, producer, recording studio
owner and part-time guitar builder, Roger tried the “corporate” environment for a little over a decade only to find the experience frustrating that a
creative mind is often an unwelcome presence in an environment that is used to doing things the same old way.
Deciding a change was in order, Roger decided to get back to the things he loved the most, music and sports.
An opportunity arose to co-produce a TV sports show with a large Cable Network entity. Over time, Roger acquired the rights to the show and
made numerous changes to the show everyone now knows as “Sportsnight”.
Expanding on his TV experience gained through “Sportsnight”, Roger is ready to launch a new TV show called “Carolina Sessions, a program
focusing on his passion for music that highlights original unsigned talent based in the Carolinas, a hot bed of music of all genres.
Cullis Entertainment has based its growth and reputation on providing the finest in television and music entertainment that is accessible for the
whole family. Positive programming that shows the positive side of the Carolinas’ entertainment industry and is determined to help grow a music
and entertainment scene that will rival those in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle, Nashville and other great cultural cities.
